Hayle's LGFB Regional Co-ordinator, Jane Tummon, pulled together a major fund raising event at Boots in Hayle, Cornwall over Easter where beauty counter assistants offered make-overs and skincare advice to anyone visiting the store, in return for a donation. Raffle and lucky dips took place to win lovely fragrance and beauty prizes and more than £1000 was raised for LGFB. The Cornishman newspaper supported the event by running excellent pre-event and post-event coverage including a major ‘Putting a brave face on cancer" feature around our valuable LGFB workshops in the area.
