Look Good Feel Better

An Evening of Festive Celebration 2023 – A Night to Remember

The glorious surroundings of Westminster Chapel in the heart of London played host to a very special Evening of Festive Celebration with Look Good Feel Better on 6th December 2023.

Guests joined us for this prestigious event, enjoying stunning performances by The London Gay Men’s Chorus, Stereo Twins, and opera singers Harry Kersley and James Schouten.

Emma Howell, our charity Patient Ambassador, talked about her own experience. Emma was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2022 and attended several of our workshops, which she found transformational.   She explained:

“The workshops were full of fun and laughter. They made a real difference to me at a very difficult time and gave me back my confidence!

“The money raised during the evening will mean that more people with cancer will be able to take part in these incredible workshops, and will leave feeling empowered and less isolated. With cancer impacting so many people’s lives, the charity’s work is vital and makes a real difference to someone facing cancer.”

We were delighted to announce the winners of our annual awards: The Gillian Kirton Volunteer of the Year went to the lovely Wendy Harrower and The Gerry Gough Outstanding Supporter of the Year went to Fay Goldring, of KGA. Congratulations and thank you for all your wonderful support!

CEO Mark Flannery gave a sneak preview of what we can expect in 2024, with new challenges launching overseas and new workshop venues opening in some very special places.

It was a joyous occasion that brought everyone together to kick off the seasonal celebrations in style!
