Chris, from Lancashire, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2022 after a visit to her local GP on an unrelated matter. A blood test was taken which revealed the cancer, which Chris would otherwise not have known was there.
Medical support services followed quickly and timely, and Chris soon received the necessary treatments, with a major surgery taking place earlier this year.
Chris’s daughters treated her to a massage with a nurse who specialised in massages for cancer patients and it was here that Chris found out about Look Good Feel Better.
Once signed up to a skincare and make-up workshop, Chris hasn’t looked back.
“I would absolutely say GO! if you can. It was so good to do something different and something just for me. It was a great opportunity to try out new products and colours and to change it all up a bit. Sometimes we just stick to the same make-up for years and years, and this taught me differently. And the staff were excellent and really knew their stuff! I’d heartily recommend it.”
Chris, who has retired from her role in accounts, is now enjoying spending time with her family. We wish her and her family all the very best!
