Community Fundraising Manager – Midlands/ Central Region
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and working with some talented and passionate colleagues, you will play a major part in launching a new community fundraising position which will result in significant income from local communities in the Midlands / Central Region. You will bring a passion for donor and supporter engagement and building relationships, a passion for innovation and a creative flair, bringing new events, ideas and initiatives to fruition. Your expertise and experience will play a significant part in shaping Look Good Feel Better’s exciting future. For your application to be considered you will have a minimum of 5 years community fundraising experience and be able to provide examples of previous income growth in your chose area of fundraising. You will be a self-starter, a creative and strategic thinker with strong collaboration and communication skills, and above all a passion to help support people living with cancer.
Location: The position is home based. You will be expected to cover an area of 50-75 miles from central Birmingham. You will be required to attend four ‘all charity team’ meetings per annum (two virtually and two in person) and monthly fundraising team meetings and 121 meetings with your manager.
Hours of Work: 9.00am–5.30pm Monday – Friday. Working outside core hours may be required with possible weekend and evening events during the year.
Regional Manager – South West & Wales
The Regional Manager’s role is based within the field and requires a close working relationship with our hospital/cancer centre partners to manage and coordinate our services, including working with existing volunteers, as well as forming new relationships with contacts and the recruitment of new volunteers.
Location: South West and Wales
You will be based at home but required to travel regularly across your region. You will also be required to attend quarterly meetings at the Epsom Head office.
