“It shows that it really is worth making a bit of an effort to make yourself feel better. After the workshop all the ladies looked so beautiful and radiant.”
Laura, from Gloucestershire, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma earlier this year. Laura has just finished her last chemotherapy session.
Laura Pardoe explains:
“The skincare and make-up workshop was absolutely brilliant. Although I am quite used to applying make-up, I did learn a lot during the workshop. After cancer treatment, you do look different and learning make-up application tips and practical advice really does give you a boost.

Laura, from Gloucestershire, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma earlier this year, after a diagnosis was made during a visit to A&E in June. Intense treatment followed rapidly and at twice weekly intervals, and Laura has just finished her last chemotherapy session.
“I attended the workshop on one of the hottest days of the summer and felt thoroughly flustered when I arrived. They put me at ease immediately and even handed me this brilliant electric hand held fan to cool off! Everyone was so lovely and I was able to completely relax and enjoy the session.”
Laura laughs:
“The goodie bag was incredible – and my problem now is how to stop my daughters from using all the products. Everyone should sign up – don’t hesitate, just do it!”
