The Perfume Shop’s Managing Director Gill Smith joins Board at Look Good Feel Better

The Perfume Shop’s Managing Director, Gill Smith, has joined the charity Look Good Feel Better’s Board, in addition to her role at The Perfume Shop. The Perfume Shop has a long-standing partnership with Look Good Feel Better; in 2023 having raised over £100,000, which is a huge 200% increase on fundraising in 2022. Now Managing Director Gill Smith is joining their Board to offer her expertise and guidance to develop the charity further after a record breaking year of fundraising at The Perfume Shop.

Gill Smith, Managing Director at The Perfume Shop commented, “Look Good Feel Better is a charity that’s close to my heart having supported them personally but also working together on initiatives through The Perfume Shop most recently this year being an event sponsor at the annual Evening of Festive Celebration.

“I’m excited to join the team as I’m impressed with the services they offer to local communities to help people face cancer with confidence, help regain a sense of normality, but most importantly to help them look good and feel better. It’s charities like this that are so important to myself and The Perfume Shop as we see such a strong link between not only looking good, but feeling more positive when you wear your chosen perfume. The Perfume Shop has supported Look Good Feel Better for nearly 30 years and I’m so proud of what our perfume people have delivered in both fundraising and raising awareness over this time – I look forward to being able to help make a difference in 2024.”

Mark Flannery, CEO at Look Good Feel Better commented, “We are absolutely delighted to announce Gill has joined the board at Look Good Feel Better. Gill has been a passionate supporter of our charity for a long time, both personally and through our amazing partnership with The Perfume Shop.

“As CEO, and on behalf of the team and Board at Look Good Feel Better, we are super lucky and proud to have Gill devote her time to help challenge, shape and guide the charity, and we are looking forward to working even more closely as we enter our big growth years.”
